APEX 1/7 Ningguang Scaled Figure

Earlier, I received the pre-order bonus for this figure and I must say, APEX/mihoyo really knows how to budol their fanbase.

And finally after a year (?) of waiting, here comes one of my holy grails – APEX 1/7 “Eclipsing Star” Ningguang! (lol eclipsing star, really?)

This is my second figure from a Chinese company and while I’ve seen amazing figures produced by APEX, I still can’t help not to get anxious on how this would turn out.

Unboxing

Soooooo…. APEX apparently made sure that our Tianquan is secluded in a box worthy of her position as the richest in Liyue. I was surprised that they put so much effort with this. And while it’s lovely to look at, it comes with a drawback – expensive shipping fee. Fortunately, since I ordered this on one of my suki shops, they didn’t impose additional fees for this.

Despite the wooden box, my 1/7 Stars Bless You Sakura turned out to be heavier than this.

She comes with a lot of accessories that you need to assemble. However, there’s a manual included with English translation so it wasn’t that difficult to set up.

Seeing this reminded me of the times when I played with my Barbie dolls haha.

This figure is honestly so beautiful in all angles and it did not disappoint.

Despite issues on the face like her eyes appearing slightly more distant to each other, I would say it might really depend on the angle and whether you’re using a phone camera that causes slight distortion.

One of the nicest things about this figure is that the lamp lights up! Sadly, I forgot to get myself a CR1220 battery to power it up. 😩 I’ll update this post for more photos where the figure is lit up if I have time. ~~I can’t believe I missed something this crucial.~~
